Architect in Louisville, Colorado, and Marshall Fire Rebuild
Intentional Architecture is a residential studio fifteen minutes from Louisville, working with homeowners across Louisville, Superior, Lafayette, and the broader Boulder County rebuild zone. The studio is led by Jesse Ledin, NCARB-credentialed, and is a member of the Passive House Institute and the Colorado Green Building Guild. Our work is grounded in durable, high-performance design, wildfire resilience, and homes that fit the way real families live.
Marshall Fire Rebuild Architecture for Louisville and Superior
The December 2021 Marshall Fire took roughly a thousand homes in Louisville and Superior, and the rebuild is still very much underway. Designing a rebuild is different from a clean-lot custom home. There is insurance to coordinate, fire-resistant assemblies to specify, a neighborhood streetscape to honor, and the very personal work of recreating a sense of home without simply recreating the house that was lost. We walk families through all of it with patience and care.
How a Rebuild Project Works
A practical, honest path: we help you understand what your policy covers versus what the design calls for, coordinate with your builder, and shape a home that fits your life now. Rebuilds often move faster than a clean-site custom home, because the lot, services, and rough footprint are already established.
Louisville Architect Services
Beyond rebuilds, we design custom homes, additions, and renovations across Old Town Louisville and the surrounding neighborhoods, and we know the City of Louisville permitting path.

Class A roofing, ignition-resistant exterior assemblies, defensible-space site design, ember-resistant venting, and tempered glass on exposed elevations. Paired with a high-performance envelope, a rebuild can be safer than what was lost and better to live in: cleaner indoor air, including protection from wildfire smoke, and steady comfort through every season.
